He’s already 35. The ones who age like JV are rare. I’d pass on that. What about picking up the 1-year $10 mil option on Mancini? 👎🏻

I know this would never happen, but for s**** and giggles, Astros offer Aaron Judge 8 years/$300M, with a player opt out after the third season. Could you imagine this lineup 1. Altuve 2. Pena 3. Alvarez 4. Judge 5. Bregman 6. Tucker 7. Hensley/Diaz 8. Meyers/McCormick/Leon 9. Maldonado/Lee/Diaz And if Crane didn't care about luxury tax penalties. Astros re-sign Verlander, and trade Garcia + McCormick to the Pirates or Orioles for Reynolds or Mullins 1. Altuve,Reynolds or Mullins 2. Pena, Altuve, Reynolds or Mullins 3. Alvarez 4. Judge 5. Bregman 6. Tucker 7. Pena,Reynolds or Mullins 8. Hensley or Diaz 9. Maldonado, Lee or Diaz Crane should also offer his left nut for Judge.

I'd still say it's virtually impossible, but you could see Crane making a run at Judge just to p*ss off Cashman.

I think Judge will re-sign with the Yankees or sign with the Giants.

I haven't completely changed my mind. I'm just more hesitant now. And because he continues to suck. I'm starting to wonder if something is wrong with him health-wise. He;s never been the same since coming back from the cancer, but he was still above-average until now....when he's horrible.

People tend to overlook batting average, but when you’re well below .200, that’s a glaring problem. What bothers me is the lack of contact. At times, it’s Maldonado level bad.

Pena nominated for the GG for shortstop. The nominees:
Carlos Correa: 1.1 dWAR 3 Defensive Runs Saved Jeremy Pena: 2.4 dWAR 15 Defensive Runs Saved Xander Bogaerts: 1.2 dWAR 4 Defensive Runs Saved
Pena has a real good shot at this if they look at some of the biggest defensive metrics. His error total could hurt him though.
I fully expect Tucker to be nominated and win. He led all AL RFers in DRS by a mile.

Well you have the reigning platinum winner and a Boston player as nominees, so there will be some reputation bias.

Tucker and his fellow nominees:
Kyle Tucker: .8 dWAR 13 DRS Max Kepler: .5 dWAR 9 DRS Jackie Bradley, Jr.: .2 dWAR 10 DRS
This should be a no-brainer.
