Back to the shirt I wore the first 7 games of the postseason. I hope Javier shoves and we score 15+ runs.

Do we get to see Vazquez catch Javier tomorrow?

The players are going to have to win 3 of the next 4 in spite of Dusty. That is a pretty tall order.

If we don't win the series would anyone look back at what happened in game 1 as the defining moment?

If we don't win the series would anyone look back at what happened in game 1 as the defining moment? Blowing a 5-0 lead with pitcher mismanagment or leaving a starter in to get shelled with 5 HRs in 5 innings? Too much to choose from Dusty's Greatest Hits Collection.

Hey, guys. I heard the Phillies’ bullpen is terrible. How’s that been going for us?

Last night sucked but if we even the series tonight we bring it back to Houston and things are in our favor.
It was a total team effort of suck last night. I think we see a better game tonight.
Hopefully Hensley gets to DH again... I'm not sure why we pinch hit for him last night though.

Shout-out to Urquidy btw. He hasn't pitched in forever and he came in and did a great job. Heck, he's been damn good in all of the WS appearances he's been in.

In all the bad last night, Urquidy was the bright spot. Guy has 3 career World Series wins. He really helped allow the pen have another rest day. I have a feeling Javier will pitch well. Dusty has a well rested pen and he absolutely needs to go to them at the first sign of trouble.

I have a good feeling about tonight. Lots of postseason experience or not, I think the unplanned extra day off and the emotions/expectations of the first game in Philly threw them off some. Then, they immediately get off to a bad start and it took them out of the game. If that liner by Altuve falls to lead off the game and we get something going in the first inning, it could have been a very different game. That's how it goes sometimes. It would be hard to believe that we would get bad starts from 3 out of 4 of our starting pitchers in these first four games, so I think things balance out today. Winning this game means we only need to win 2 out of the remaining 3 and two of those games will be in Houston, if necessary. And, all in all, yes it would suck to lose another WS, but I'm still thankful we get to watch such good baseball over the last several years. It would just sure be nice to add another title to this run and change the narrative on this era a little.

Don't want Darvish 2.0 If it was me for Game 7, I'd actually probably do a bullpen day. Maybe have Garcia or Urquidy pitch the first inning or two, and then let our bullpen smash them. If it is McCullers, the guy has been damn good at home. That's why I wanted him pitching Games 2 and 6. I know everybody is emotional and mad at JV and Lance right now (and they've certainly stunk this round), but they've both had success in the postseason at different times. No reason to believe they can't both bounce back with strong starts.

Everybody gets so down on LMJ just because he would get emotional when he was younger. The guy is a good pitcher far more often than he is a bad pitcher. Both in the regular season and in the postseason. Even with the blow-up last night, his career ERA in the postseason is 3.47 (almost identical to his 3.48 ERA in the regular season). He wins, he's loyal to Houston, and his contract is reasonable for his caliber. The only thing that should frustrate a fan about Lance, imo, is his durability.

That he was tipping his pitches, then no way, if it goes to a game 7, should he be starting.

It was too late by then, of course.
