Whew. Not good but could have been worse. Damn right if Jake didn't make that circus catch that inning could have snow balled. So, when he strikes out 4-5 times, that one catch makes it all alright, right? |

Maybe one positive of Severino and NYY generally handing the Astros' collective ass to themselves is that come playoff time, the Yanks may be a bit overconfident and get sloppy.
At least, it's a remote hope I can hold on to.

The way that Reddick barely hit .225 over the 20 games preceding his DL stint makes me suspect this "infection" was affecting him for a few weeks before it got so bad they had to pull him from the roster.
To play NYY today without Springer or a healthy Reddick is tough.
