Bregman 2019: 22.5% line drive %, 18.6% HR/FB ratio, 44.9% hard contact
Bregman 2023: 17.9% line drive %, 6.8% HR/FB ratio, 27.6% hard contact
For those not readily familiar with the context of those stats, those are drastic drops.

How do his numbers compare to last year? Still down in all three (LD% is close though). Still significant drops from career average, though. Hard contact rate is down 7.3%, which is pretty big. |

That was shockingly awful pitching from Kopech. Jeremy Pena needing contact, and you throw him three straight fastballs? Some White Sox scout needs to be fired over that.
