We've won 7 of our last 8 including 4 in a row. There's no reason we should finish this Athletics series with more than 20 losses on the season.
This could be Altuve's first game back, but I feel like a few more games to work on his timing wouldn't be a bad thing....

Trap series: Oakland can hit. They can’t pitch. Time for the offense to step it up. They don't hit as badly as they pitch, but they really don't hit that well either; 4th worst in MLB in runs scored. If we win the first game with Bielak going, Brown and Framber really should have their way with that lineup. |

Bad team coming to town. All 3 starters for the As have ERAs over 5. We should easily sweep, but I wouldn't be surprised if we play down and lose 2 of 3.

My youngest son turned 14 today. My wife and older son took him to top golf this morning. They are catching the game tonight. I am excited they are getting to see Altuve's return.

Altuve back to lead things off. I really prefer Pena hitting 2nd between Altuve and Yordan, but Bregman has been heating up. Abreu back to splitting up Yordan and Tucker so the pitcher gets a nice break in between our two best RBI guys...

Hensley sent back to AAA so we'll continue to carry a 3rd catcher for some reason. Hensley needs steady ABs so I don't mind that, but I think we need to bring up the hottest bat we have in AAA...

Yeah, I'm fine with this since he needs the playing time to get himself right, but Salazar still being on the roster is silly. And I don't know how much longer they can keep going as they are before optioning Abreu and giving Yainer a look at 1B. |
