I think it’s because Olpapa didn’t like the Seattle parade, and he is an Astros fan I will never forget the time Olpapa told me that story. I almost fell over laughing so hard. The same almost happened to me, saw the Astros were facing Justin Verlander earlier this year. June 20th game, so I get Crawford seats for my son. I tell him at 3:30 that day, I’m taking him to the game. He went to go see the giveaways. He ran back into me and said it’s Pride night, and they’re giving away pride pins……So I went back on StubHub, sold my tickets for 80% of what I paid….Got tickets for the following day game. Still Crawford seats. Giveaway, Bregman 2022 Astros WS Replica Ring. FTR - I only sold June 20th and bought the next day tickets because I really wanted the Bregman Ring. |

For a long time, I would think I was one of the top Dusty supporters. ….but his lineup decision making is maddening… I’m only tolerable of my own stupidity, not others’ I never cared for him or any other journeyman manager, but the criticism of him is at an amount greater than Cecil Cooper or Jimy Williams, which is silly. Did I think it was a mistake to rehire the man? Yes, but besides his use of Maldy, I can’t think of something he consistently sucks at most of the time. |
