80-61 | +1 for the AL West division lead on SEA
Coming back home for 6 games where we are just not as good. We are facing two teams under .500 and the OAK ballclub is historically bad. We need to keep winning and I think we need to go at least 4-2.
Snell vs. Brown - Altuve, Abreu, Brantley, Bregman, Dubon, and Tucker all have pretty good numbers vs. Snell.

There's just really no excuse to not win at least 5 out of the next 6. Snell is pretty hot right now so that game could go either way, but everything else should be us.

I don't know if Chas is going to crack the lineup tonight. Just because according to Dusty Chas isn't a big boy yet in terms of service time. Although according to Dusty he is a big boy in terms of his weight....

I believe that Dusty's lineup management is centered around the thought that he has to maintain loyalty among the veterans and stay in their good graces. Dusty knows that rookies come in and burn hot then flame out all the time. So he holds the rookies back and shows the veterans that they will not lose their job to some guy who comes up and hits like a house on fire while they are on the dl or suffering through a cold streak. The concept has merit within limits. Dusty takes it beyond what a normal person would consider prudent. Dusty then in turn uses that loyalty to get the veterans to mentor the rookies and young players in the Dusty way and he controls the clubhouse. He still does control the clubhouse better than his predecessor. Now as far as the pitching staff goes my three year old grandson has a better idea on what to do there. |

I was actually going to pay the fee for Apple TV+ just to watch this game, and their website is broken and I get an error when I try to give them money LOL. Good job MLB. Guess I can't watch this critical September game.
