I wonder how the kid with this kind of tainted past would stand the test of heckling fans and constant reminders from the media. Considering the scrutiny he'd be under, I'd say he would be a low risk repeat offender. But as a GM would you want this kind of attention? I think Heimlick would choke

He would have a lot of access to unaccompanied minors working at HEB. Again, I'm not worried about recidivism with him. I'm more talking about punishment for such a horrible crime if it's true. A star high school athlete molests a child that can barely speak in grammatically correct sentences and then goes on to be multimillionaire athlete pursuing his dream? That's not right. ***** Amen.

Yes. 4 to 6 years. Those are not toddlers. That’s merely semantics. It’s still an innocent child.

Yes. 4 to 6 years. Those are not toddlers. That’s merely semantics. It’s still an innocent child. The true problem with the world today is the general public likes to make statistical evaluations on others based upon misguided reporting. Everyone has this need to get emotional over hearing a story laid out in a way to purposely make others emotional then expect the reader to make a rational conclusion. It doesn't happen that way.
However, this issue unfolded and nobody will ever know the actual truth of it all. It's up to the courts and community involved to place the appropriate punishment. If he served his time in the community then I won't pretend to judge him any differently. Not because I feel the justice is correct, but because there is no other way to know if it wasn't.
If he is 100% guilty of doing this then no amount of money will take that burden away from his mind. Likewise, if he had to live out the rest of his life in poverty, it wouldn't change a thing on the events.

You act like we said we should burn him at the stake. Basically, people said it would be bad public relations to draft a guy like Heimlich, which is evident by him not being drafted. Maybe he was just doing the Heimlich Maneuver on the girl I was going to make the same joke a couple of days ago, but the Angel on my shoulder beat the Devil on my other shoulder.
