All numbers and facts, aside. I just want to see a fun offensive laugher for the Astros. Let's just beat the crap out of somebody tonight.

Most of the Astros have minimal at bats versus LeBlanc. Gattis has two career homeruns off him. Altuve is 4 for 6 against him in his career.

The two guys I'm the least concerned about.

It's not a matter of concern. It's a matter of I hope these two guys rake tonight and the rest of the team notices then steps up.

Time for Correa to step up and produce...He has been giving us basically nothing with his bat., You can't hit with the bat on your shoulder.

I'm pretty hard on Correa too, but we have to be a little fair. He's on pace for the below numbers offensively while playing the most premium defensive position: 26 HR 102 RBI 94 Runs 5 SBs .263/.345/.465 .810 OPS 5.8 WAR Marisnick is giving us nothing with his bat. Correa is giving us quite a bit, just not as much as we were hoping for after he had such a great year last year before getting hurt. He's on pace for very similar numbers to his 2016 season. And he's still only 23 years old.

Yeah that's frustrating for sure, but he's still a good hitter giving us a lot of offensive value at shortstop. At this point he's really not an ideal cleanup hitter, but we have our cleanup hitter hitting leadoff.

Springer Bregman Altuve Correa Gurriel Reddick Gattis Federowicz Kemp
Looks better just having Reddick in there who was on fire at home before his infection.

On paper this matchup is in our favor quite a bit. McCullers has had a ton of success against most of these Seattle hitters and he's been great home. While as for LeBlanc, in a smaller sample size, most of our hitters have had very good success.
It would be nice to send Seattle off licking their wounds before we enter into, hopefully, a successful easier June schedule.

He is a beast offensively at SS, but how would his numbers compare at 3B? This year? He'd be the 2nd best 3B in the American League behind Jose Ramirez.

I don't think swapping Bregman and Correa defensively would make a difference. That’s how I feel about the Gurriel at 3B/Bregman in LF situation.

Yeah I'm certainly open to that idea if we picked up a real 1B (Jose Abreu). Springer CF Altuve 2B Correa SS Abreu 1B Bregman LF Gurriel 3B Reddick RF Gattis DH McCann/Stassi C Now that's a MFing lineup.

I like Bregman exactly where he is. Yeah he's fine at 3B, but he's also young enough and athletic enough to pickup a new position if we could add another good hitter to the lineup.

I agree that he is capable of changing positions....I just like him at 3B . I wanted them to develop a first baseman and let Yuli DH.

Well that's who Reed was supposed to be. Not going well.
Hopefully Tucker will work out at LF and the others can stay where they are.
