I hope so. Of course Giles will go into his hissy fit pout mode. When has he done that? Remember the little tiff between mgt. Gregerson and Giles when we acquired Giles? (i.e closer role) He didn't go full bore Omar Moreno, but you could tell it was a dicey issue.

Nothing like a sweep to stick in the face of Ranger fans who said that we deserved Harvey by living by the coast. How you feeling, pops? Some days better than others. Sure hope I don't have to live the rest of my life on anti-inflammatories. Thanks for asking.

Man AJ really saved Harris' bacon today. It's supposed to be the other way around, but we haven't seen much of that lately You could argue that Hinch got the win.

It’s uncanny how much better than usual Giles was today. I wonder if Giles is best in a 7th-inning roleWhat happens with Harris then?

What happens with Harris then? He is always welcome to pitch when we are up by 10 runs Today’s game is a good example of why I don’t put a lot of stock in the “W” stat. Harris comes in and blows the lead and is rewarded with a W after the team regains the lead he lost.

i had forgotten about those drums.........i hate them, too Today, Kalas and Blum wasted time with Julia talking about it being too hot. Now that we are going to Oakland, she will be too cold. I don't know why flirting among the broadcast crew is supposed to be entertaining. It's very distracting. Yes,. and very annoying. they spent the whole game talking about the heat ane Julia's umbrella. Her silliness got old a long time ago. Now, they talk about how cold she is for three days

At least Julia knows baseball. I like her input. I didn't know that. I've never heard her discuss BASEBALL.

I want baseball announcers to follow the game and limit their banter and interviews to when the game isn't being played.

i agree with the junior cub scout from Pennsylvania that Julia does a great job on Astros Bases Loadeed.......that is one of the very few things he is right about. First, he brings up dildos and now he does a half-assed job of saying I'm gay, which I am not. No doubt in my mind that this pitiful little crybaby eats Tide pods and snorts condoms. I keep waiting for him to cry and call me an internet bully. Of course, he will deny that he is the one who drug this crap over here from the old board and refuses to let it drop..........Eddie knew more baseball and wasn't the genuine turd that this clown is.

All of the continued referral to how hot it was in Arlington today got very old. She does do a great job on Astros base loaded and on most of her pre and post game interviews are good. You will have to excuse the little cub scout from Pennsylvania for continuing to show his immaturity. I doubt if he ever played the game so he gets very excited when Julia giggles and imagines that she is giggling at him.

I don’t know that I have ever been as annoyed by a broadcast crew as I was at the Fox crew when they put the camera on Elvis Andrus and interviewed him for an entire 1/2 inning while the Astros were at bat in the game last Saturday.

If I wasn't able to actually SEE the game being played, I'd be annoyed. I find the banter and some of the stories entertaining. My main problem with commentators is when they get ridiculously biased and homerish like every single one of the Rockets commentators. When our player flops it's showmanship and basketball intellect, but when an opposing player flops, it's ridiculous and the foul shouldn't be called. Blum and Kalas are slightly biased but pretty fair for the other side too (like Blum agreeing that Bannister should be upset yesterday with the delayed balk call). Julia is just a little bit of comic relief during slow times.

Spend some time listening to/watching the commentators for practically any other team, and you'll come running back to Julia, Blummer and TK. By the way, blcoach8, PA might be acting like a juvenile, but he's at least 65 or 70 years old.

The love for Hamilton always puzzled me. I always used to say that his behavior (drooling over female guests) would have gotten him fired in 487 of the Fortune 500 companies. I found him to be among the most self centered pukes ever to man a mic. Well maybe behind Harry Carey. Plus his non-baseball side bantering drove me crazy. Again , sorry to speak ill of the dead, but...........
