Tough matchup tonight, especially since Yordan will likely have the day off. It would be great to clinch today and then be able to rest some guys. Bregman, Altuve, Yordan, Diaz, Pena, Abreu, and Hader have all either played a ton, are older, or have some ailments that could use a little time off before the WC round.

They would have already clinched since Seattle lost. Even if they won yesterday it still would have taken one more win or loss from Seattle. Either way we would need to win another game as quickly as possible in order to rest some guys. |

The injuries and some mismanagement have made for a frustrating season, which could be a factor too. Too many stretches of them playing way down to their opponents damages interest. Playoffs could help. |

I came back to visit, so naturally my charming personality will attract all sorts of new members. lol Seriously though, Ol Papa was one helluva great forum member and I do miss our conversations. Corch, not-so-much. Aside from his undying devotion to Jork, he had some valid opinions but he was such a dick toward anyone who expressed a different point of view. Entertaining in a way but ultimately annoying. I remember when he used to troll the Rangers forum on the old MLB boards. iirc his username there was Hatchet67 or some other number. I had a thought on how you might liven up the forum. Change the forum title to Astros-Rangers Fight Club. 😱 |

Regardless of how this season finishes, there needs to be some changes on the offensive side of things during the off-season. Coaching or something.
