After that I would think the Dodgers. Houston may be 3rd choice. Or the Orioles, D-Backs or Royals… Actually put Arizona as my 3rd most likely 2025 team. 1. Tigers 2. Dodgers 3. Dbacks 4. Astros 5. A lot of guys who compete at as high a level as Verlander has and have done it for as long as he has seem to have trouble walking away. The man has nothing left to prove so my guess is that he will work to try to get his body right and then he will make his call. He won this last start against a pretty good team so if he really feels he can complete at a high level then he will, if not I think he will do what JJ Watt did and will walk away with his head held high. Good luck to him either way.
