Hit it decently but no elevation. Unusual mini cold streak in June for him. Least Gurriel and Gattis are picking up the slack.

Must be frustrating for Seattle fans. Nothing they can do to put distance between SEA and HOU.

The Astros have jumped into 3rd place in MLB by OPS, at .766. That puts them behind only NYY and BOS.
No. 1 in team ERA, no. 3 in team OPS = successful team. Though the pitching staff would do well to stop allowing 4+ runs so often.

Over the past 14 days, Astros starting pitching has been about no. 20 to no. 21 in MLB by FIP and xFIP. It doesn't seem to matter so much when the team is hitting, though.
The bullpen has been of late, though, posting an MLB-leading xFIP over the past two weeks and the third-best FIP.

We just need to get Morton and Keuchel back to normal. NcCullers seems to be getting back now.
I just had a brain freeze. I kept wanting to say Knepper instead of McCullers for some reason...LOL!

Gattis has 13 homers in 2018. He had 12 all of last season.

Cole has recently been more susceptible to the home run.

10 RBI in two games for Gattis. Wow Back-to-back 5 RBI games, simply badass Gattis turned things around promptly after AJ was quoted in a article (I think it was on mlb.com) as saying the team needed more production out of the DH and that if Gattis wanted to continue to get at-bats at DH, he was going to have to produce more.
