The Dodgers are going to walk into the WS. The Padres had their chance... Mark Vientos says what.

The Dodgers are going to walk into the WS. The Padres had their chance... Mark Vientos says what. I don’t think my wishes will come true and both of the teams I despise (Dodgers/Yankees) will not make the WS. At this point, I’m all in on the Mets. Hoping for a Mets/Yanks WS where the Mets come out on top.

Without the Astros in it the Yankees are walking in to the WS with ease.

Without the Astros in it the Yankees are walking in to the WS with ease. Yankees and their fans were the biggest Tigers fans not too long ago

I'd rather Ohtani and Freeman have success than the Yankees, and I don't think the Mets can beat the Yankees (nor do I want to see another subway series). I'm hoping for Dodgers vs. Mets at this point.

So far the Yankees are living on the other team's mistakes or not capitalizing on their opportunities of scoring runs. They are receiving a silver platter to the WS.

Clase has given up more runs this postseason than he did during the entire regular season. Yikes.

I admit that watching the Yankees has made me miss the Astros when they were a good hitting team.

It'll be a good World Series for MLB and making money, but what a disaster for Astros fans....

Wide open borders, record inflation, woke craziness, college protests, cats and dogs being eaten, and now a Yankees/Dodgers World Series. We won't survive four more years, get out and vote!

Absolute disaster of a WS. One of those ****suckers has to win. The only small consolation is that one has to lose as well.

As much as I dislike the Dodgers, the Yankees will always be the ultimate enemy. I can't stand Cashman, Soto, or Boone, and it would be enjoyable to see Judge continue to choke in the postseason just to piss off their fanbase.

It's really hard to decide.
Oh wait, if the Dodgers win, Joe Kelly gets a ring.
Go Yankees.

Not to mention that Ohtani basically fell into their laps. Don't forget that they fixed it to where they are avoiding $24 million per year that they would normally have against their salary cap. That ludicrously team friendly deal he signed with a team that least of all needed the financial help is just maddening.
And as far as the insufferability of the fanbases go, another Yankees ring will just kind of get lost in their history. Meanwhile the Dodgers still do not have a non-Mickey Mouse ring this millennium.

I was leaning into rooting for the Yankees until whineass Cashman opened the floodgates via tear ducts about how the Astros owned his team. Now, I’m leaning the other way.

I have to admit, that was a classic Game 1. Good to see the hero be Freddie Freeman. I've always liked that guy. He reminds me of a taller white Altuve.

If the Astros re-sign Bregman, but can’t make any other significant signings/trades, are the 2025 Astros worse, same or better than the 2024 Astros?
Staying with the question above, Astros re-sign but make no significant signings/trades, what do you think the 2026 Astros will be like?
