I know a lot of Houston fans have checked out, but it's actually been a pretty entertaining postseason so far. Obviously it would be more entertaining if we were still in it, but too late for that.
The Dodgers and Padres series has been filled with drama (a lot of it not game-related). And the Royals are actually playing the Yankees very tough so far.
I'm still rooting for Cleveland to go all the way, but Detroit stole a win after the Tigers punished Cleveland's closer in the last game.

Let's go Met's and KC, knock the Phillies and Yankees out. I already received the condolences from their fans of the Stros being eliminated.

Mets about to advance to the NLCS. Done deal. Mets vs Padres (likely).

Tide has turned in this Tigers/Indians series. Cleveland held on to force Game 5, and Detroit lost Carpenter to a hamstring issue.

The Yankees head back to the ALCS despite a very poor showing by Judge in the ALDS. They didn’t collectively stink like the Astros offense did often this season.

The Yankees head back to the ALCS despite a very poor showing by Judge in the ALDS. They didn’t collectively stink like the Astros offense did often this season. The sad part is that I think we had a better more balanced potential offense that obviously didn't live up to expectations. The Yankees you just need to pitch around Judge and Soto. It's very unfortunate the Astros couldn't get going, because the AL was weak this year.

I don't think it's just a Cintron issue though. I'm worried it's part of our analytical approach now. I don’t like launch angle promotion because it’s like they’re trying to game the system with an all or nothing approach. Every team beats us with base hits and liners while we K it up all day trying to go yard.

We also had the 2nd best OBP in the AL and the 4th best SLG (and OPS) in the AL. The offense overall was there. We even had the 3rd best AVG with RISP, believe it or not. The problem is that it felt like all or nothing for periods of time. And the final cold period of time ended our postseason early.

Very rarely did they do anything with RISP to me. They were so boring to watch with the bases loaded. Of all the stars in the lineup, they fell below Singleton and Caratini in clutch rating (according to FanGraphs). When you’re relying so much on the bottom of this top-heavy lineup in pressure situations, you’re destined to fail. Keep in mind, it took an epic collapse by Seattle for us to win the division.

It could be the analytics dept, or maybe just Altuve and his teammates revering him, despite his plate approach leaving something to be desired at times

At this point in his career, we don’t need his braun at the leadoff spot. We just need him to get on base. We need more plate discipline out of him.

What I like most about Corch being gone is we didn't hear about it every day though, despite its worth mentioning

I agree it didn't feel that way but it's the reality. The only area that we weren't amongst the top was SLG with RISP. (Hence, no grand slams.)

Lane Thomas hit .237 this year with a 99 wRC+ and got a slam off of Skubal, and our lineup of stars just gets eaten alive.

Cole in his fifth season with the Yankees, it is probably their easiest path to win a ring. Some way he will blow it up again.
