Unlike Kiermeyer yesterday.... Kemp just showed what a true jump catch is.

If he keeps catching so much of the plate it will be a short night for TB

73 K’s for Correa. He’s on pace for around 150. He had 92 all of last season.

I don’t understand Correa’s approach sometimes when hitting.

As expected, Correa was over-matched and had no chance to catch up with those fastballs........swung the bat like it weighed 10 pounds. He hits on the road and comes home and stinks.

I don’t understand Correa’s approach sometimes when hitting. He has struck out 28% of the time at home but "only" 22% of the time in away games. He really should get it down to 18% or so, but we could live with 22% if he could just be consistent.

Maybe he needs to be incarcerated at home and only let out for a designated length of time so he will have some energy for the game.

Correa splits: 0-2 count- .148 (4/27) - 15 ks 1-2 count- .167 (7/42) - 21 ks 2-2 count- .211 (8/38) - 18 ks 3-2 count- .229 (8/35) - 18 ks Scoring position with 2 outs- .192 (5/26) 3-0 count- .000 (no ABs as he has walked all 9 times)- that tells you his non-aggressive nature.
Once he gets 2 strikes on him he ks about 50% of the time

Between Springer and Correa the way people talk about them you would think they are top in the game. In reality, they are only Average or just a little above. .270 and .277. I know they can be great at times but they have never shown to be above average on a consistent basis. Springer has been terrible for more than a week and half.

Well the AVG is a small part they both have above average power and OBPs especially for premium defensive positions.

A lot of times they don't show up when you need them too. Correa has an OPS over .860 with RISP for his career...
