Altuve can't win the game by himself. He needs some help. Of course Mgt. has decided to keep the likes of Gattis and McCann and the rest of the underperforming in the starting lineup. Dude, Gattis has an OPS over .800.... Who would you play instead? |

Even with what has just happened if you look at the Astros lineup right no does it scare you as a pitcher. Have you always been this negative? We've won 13 of the last 15 and we have a top-5 offensive team. The only teams that aren't scared of us are the only two teams as good as us. We had one bad game yesterday... |

No, I am mostly upset that Mgt. stayed with the likes of Jake for a game after game and then you have players like McCann who is really on the downside and a better option in AAA. Now we have Springer who has really been in a month-long downward and Correa who can't buy a hit anymore. |

Saint you can say what you want to defend but this team that continues to lose 1 run low scoring games is going to bite them come playoffs. I wouldn't care so much if they would show they can win more than they lose of 2-1, 3-2, etc type games and that is something they haven't been able to do.

Nobody cares how little you win or lose by. And I shouldn't even have to be defending this team. They're the reigning champions and in 1st place again almost halfway thru season. |
