On the other end of the spectrum from Bregman we find Springer. Since game #1 of the Oakland series on June 12, George is 6-58 with 11 strikeouts....., and still in the #1 spot in the batting order. For the time being, I'd swap Kemp to 1 and Springer to 9.

Thanks a lot, Zach Britton. Mariners still 3.5 games back.

You’d have to be more attractive than Julia. Sorry, Doug. I'm not a fan of Julia. Julia is OK when she leaves her silliness at home. I also get tired of hearing Kalas and Blum talk about her being too hot or too cold. She is good on Astros Bases Loaded. The female that I can do without is that dumbass Brianna and her silly uacking about promotions. She needs to stay out of the booth and do her crap online.

It is ridiculous that Hinch still has George leading off. He is doing absolutely nothing. Something is wrong with him. As for Correa and his "back stiffness". that showed up very quickly while he was slumping. He and George need get their acts together.

She's been a bad luck charm since forever. Now, the blonde they had on the program a few days ago was cool... the Astros started scoring as soon as she went on air. They can bring her back on the program any time they want.

What in the world has gotten into the Reds, by the way? I mean, the Rangers and A's have been beating up on basement teams recently, but the Reds are picking off the Braves and Cubs and pretty much the cream of the NL crop (such as it is). The Reds are supposed to be the 2013 Astros.

Think of it as Bregman is leading off and Springer is in the 9th hole.... After the first inning it's not so bad

It's a conspiracy! They've taken it down in less than 24 hours? That would never happen with an east coast favorite.

Braves were supposed to be contenders around 2020, but they're early. If they had stuck to the script and been bad this year, maybe they would consider trading Markakis to the Astros, but it looks like it's not to be.

Well, that didn't work until I clicked on the start. I need to learn how to use screen capture.

Maybe try clicking this link. For some reason, MLB wants you to watch these videos on Youtube and not the Refugees. link

The Reds are supposed to be the 2013 Astros. they've got 5 regulars with an .800 OPS or better the last 30 days and Curt Casali is crushing the ball when he starts behind the dish. They've got a good mix of guys who came up with the organization and acquisitions with upside at the time

I had to miss watching yesterday's game to take care of some business. Managed to get in on a sports talk show on radio while coming home to hear that Keuchel gave up 5 runs in the first inning. He has dug us similar holes do dig out of on numerous occassions. Fortunately, we managed to come back and win this one. This guy hosting this post-game talk show said that MICHEAL BREGMAN won the game with a walk-off two run homer. My suggeestion for Keuchel: Change what you do before going to the mound so maybe your "luck" will change. Concentrate on your job instead of posing for nude photos for ESPN. I wish they would replace him in the rotation but they won't because Hinch has a tendency to go by what a guy did in the past instead of how he is performing now. Keuchel isn't close to being the pitcher he was when he won the Cy Young, but, he is being treated as if he is the same guy. He is in the walk year of his contract and is doing nothing to earn a big contract. He is the most ineffective starter we have and he keeps proving it.
