I too have been a 45s/Astros fan ever since the team came into existence. Listened to many a game on one of those little transistor AM radios that was powered by a 9V battery. I’m sure you probably did too. Everyone owned one of those radios back in the day. Again..welcome. Looking forward to your input on the board. |

Yeah, we've had 4 or so new members lately (not counting the dearly departed Eddie). Only one of them has posted yet, though...but I guess a forum needs lurkers, too.

Hi all! I used to occasionally post in the old mlb.com forum a loooong time ago. I was originally astrostar1, then changed to BillyStrikeout back when Bill Hall was K'ing it up left and right. By that point, I mostly just became a reader and perused here and there up until the site disappeared. Happy to see the community continue! The best thing he ever did was sign Shawn Chacon. |

Eddie wouldn’t be hard to find out, no matter which name he uses. And he will be instantly gone when I see him. His next ban will be an IP ban. If he gets around that, I’ll refer him to ProBoards...they’ll block him from their domain.

Seems like on the old site I was always arguing with Eddie, Ghick or some other opinionated know it all. So yes this forum has all the good and very little of the bad of the old forum. |
