They deserve this loss. Mentally weak baseball. Altuve is so inconsistent with outside pitches. He’ll go with the pitch like a boss but then flail away at it like a novice. It's that, and physically weak baseball too. 4 hits in 8 innings. I don't care if the ump has made an unfavorable ball/strike call or two. |

All they know how to do is homer sometimes. Getting a sac fly with a runner at 3rd is like asking for a 5-run homer.

They knew what to throw Altuve......slider low and away gets him most of the time. He is not smart enough to lay off when a walk tied the game.
I would have let Morton pitch to Duffy because he had gotten him out three times...Devenski gives up the bloop, Reddick has his head up his ass and allows the second run to score. Then, we blow an excellent chance to get the lead back. A ccying shame that Charlie has to be the loser in this game.....
PLEASE....ship White and Reed back to Fresno..........Why anyone wants either one on this team puzzles me.

All the wind went out of our sails when Devo gave up that bloop and Reddick went brain dead.........then Altuve who is a great player who doubles as a dumb ass, struck out on a pitch at least a foot out of the strike zone when a walk would tie the game. This is another game when Hinch's damn clipboard bit us in the ass.......Morton should have been allowed to pitch to Duffy. We gave this game away.  |
