This Polish catcher dude has been doing well. He's better than Erik Kratz as an injury backup C.

For once, come through, George. If not, like Bregs.

Fedo has an OBP of .404 for Fresno this year, three points shy of Kemp's .407.
Just for comparison's sake.

Also, why didn’t the catcher score? How slow is he?

This Polish catcher dude has been doing well. He's better than Erik Kratz as an injury backup C. For some reason Kratz has nine lives, keeps hanging in AAA and teams find him.

0-12, but I count 4 hard contact outs during that stretch now. At least he is swinging at better pitches today. Hopefully that's a good sign...

Also, why didn’t the catcher score? How slow is he? He's never even attempted a stole base in the majors, so I'm guessing pretty slow. In 2016, Statcast clocked Fedo at 24.8 ft/sec running the bases, which would make him the second-slowest runner on the Astros this year after McCann. By comparison, Stassi & White run at 25.8 ft/sec and Gattis is a good clip faster than both of those guys still.

Cole may need an early hook if Hinch wants to stay within striking distance.

risky call but it worked. it could have gotten ugly if the hitter took the pitch and loaded the bases. The entire starting rotation has thrown a ton of innings so far this year. The All Star Break can't come soon enough.

Last year you always felt like all the guys had a shot to do something. This year it just is not the same feeling. With Gonzo specifically, it is almost a sure call to say strike out or double play with him up. get well soon CC we need you back here at 100%
