Bottom of the order did its job... it's time to let George hit 8th till he snaps out of it. The 9 spot should be reserved for Kemp. Altuve and Bregman can both lead off.

I don't think this has happened to him to this extent since he was called up in, what was it, 2015? or '14?

Any other manager would have benched Springer by now or at least moved him down to the bottom of the order. I love the guy,but, he is killing our offense. A change of some kind has to be made if this continues. Unless I heard Blum wrong, he is now 5 for 70 after that last strikeout.

AJ is not going to move George out of the #1 spot in the batting order. I don’t care if he goes ofer the rest of the season. It ain’t gonna happen.

George's K rate is still under 19% over the past 30 days. That's about the team average. it's incredible to have such poor results when the problem isn't strikeouts for the most part.
