White is 2 for 3 against Rodon, while Marwin has struggled. I wouldn't mind seeing the infield defense juggled a little so that White can start this game.

something like White 1B, Bregman SS, Gurriel 3B should hold down the fort for this game, while allowing the offense to crush Rodon early.

Late in the game, if Hinch wants to bring in Marwin to play SS and shift Bregs and Yuli back to normal positions, fine.

I'd be open to that. I don't see it happening though.

marwin or Bregman will play SS until Correa returns, which I hope is soon unless he is still having a stiffness problem.  I would like to see White shipped back to Fresno or traded and see Tucker brought up.

I hope so.  Since Correa's stiffness has prevented him from resuming baseball activities and could keep him out until after the break, I trust he is limiting his other activities as well.  We need him on the field

Proof that Hinch reads the Refugees!

White is due for a bomb, he just needs regular playing time to get going.

In spite of a less than ideal start, he is still on pace for wRC+ of 105. He's good for 120 though.

HOUSTON -- Astros manager AJ Hinch said shortstop Carlos Correa is unlikely to return from the 10-day disabled list for Houston's four-game series against the White Sox at Minute Maid Park, which begins Thursday. Correa, who is eligible to be activated, has missed nine games (including Thursday's) since being placed on the DL with back stiffness on June 26.

"I can't give you a timetable," Correa said Thursday. "We're taking it day by day. I want to make sure I'm right when I get back out there and play all the way to late October."
