I was hoping to get Yuli up there, but, I didn't have my hopes up. I then got what I expected.......an Altuve strikeout in that situation....swings at a pitch he can't reach and then takes a third called strike.

The Team OPS will suffer because of this game but winning is most important And Team ERA will go down too. Astros did a good job of not letting the Sox steal either of the close games this series. |

That is Altuve yet nothing you posted mention his HR opened the Scoring. I was not online when he hit the home run which was very big...could have been the game winner. Still doesn't change the fact that his impatience at the plate hurts him in those situations. |

I may switch to Yosemite Sam at some point even though some would say that is advocating violence.  Altuve DOES swing wildly at times. With Yuli hitting behind him, more patience would be better. Also had a coupl eof bad at bats from Bregman that we haven't seen lately. This game was won by our pitchers......Keuchel, McHugh, and Rondon were all outstanding. |

I know which Astros I think should make the team, but, all of them won't be there.......Altuve, Bregman, Verlander, Cole, and Morton should definitely be going. McHugh, Gurriel,and Gattis deserve it but probably won't go. I know Ramos is the starting catcher, but, Stassi has done enough to be the backup, but, I don't expect him to get it.
