Whitley placed on DL. Strained oblique.

We'll see.... I'd feel better about that lineup if Springer woke up. Springer is not going to get better at batting first in the batting order if he’s not batting first in the batting order. - AJ By the way, I've never asked what you have against Hinch. What do you have against Hinch?

Here’s good news. Baltimore beat the Yanks 5-4 in the first of 2.

I want to see Tuckers swing a little more. Something about it seems a little long. Maybe I’m wrong though. I’d like to see more line drives. I can see some Olerud potential once he starts recognizing pitches better.

I realize players need rest, but, resting your top hitters with the AS break coming up at the end of the week doesn't make sense to me. Yuli isn't going to the All Star game so he can rest then. If Correa is taking ground balls, maybe his "stiffness" ...........or whatever he has.....is subsiding. I got to thinking....Yuli just had 3 days off for his newborn. He needs another off day? Colic will do that.

It would real nice to see Cole throw another one of those 0-1 run games with 10-12 strikeouts.

Mlb tv sent me an email for a quick survey about their product. Clicked a link. Said I’d already taken it which I hadn’t. Worse part is same commercials every half inning.
Looking for a good start from Cole tonight.

MLB.com Had an article on Every Need for the AL contenders. Had Astros as Hand and Britton. Saying we need a legit closer. Also had Boston and Britton as a need of theirs too.

trying to figure out what he is hitting. I was thinking it's getting close to 10 for 100 or something like that.

Usual Springer ground out to start the game. Our All-Star CFer started the night with a .272 OBP over the last 30 days. That’s .12 less than Marwin.

Saying we need a legit closer. Bet that gave one unnamed Astros reliever a case of the Squats........

his feet are too close together and they're in a cement block when he swings

there's something about Tucker's stance I don't like yeah me too, I will like it a whole lot better if he starts hitting like he did in AAA. I never liked Bagwell's stance either so what do I know.

his feet are too close together and they're in a cement block when he swings Yeah he obviously can hit because he has proven it in the minors. I agree though his stance seems unnatural. Maybe a minor stance change could help him.
