Hope Julia is being careful. The Braves' on-field reporter got hit in the face with a foul ball. Fractured eye socket. Looked bad. Damn. Sorry to read that. I wonder if that qualifies for workman's comp

Watching CC adjust to that change up and putting good wood on the ball was something.

I thought Marwin would do well in his second AB... though he K'd the first time around, at least he forced Moore to show him everything he has

Astros 13, Rangers 8 Book it. One thing over the years, the Stros were never good against those soft tossers.

Astros win probability all the way down to 80% now. This is just not good enough.

was hoping to see Moore tossed after 4 innings. South Oklahoma doesn't have much of a bullpen so if Moore gets chased early, Astros have really good odds of piling up the score in the later innings.
Unfortunately looks like Moore will be back out for the 5th

That home run told the nation that the Astros belonged in the World Series. You cannot downplay how important that moment was for this team. The rest is history.

McHugh, Harris, and Sipp are the only pitchers who haven't taken the mound yet this regular season. When McCullers gets tired, those guys are probably first in line.

I am still not sold on how effective Colin is going to be coming out of the pen. Best bet would be to get him out there with a crooked number lead.

I won't be surprised if next week Hinch announces one of the 5 starting pitchers is going on the DL for "shoulder soreness" or something generic like that. Not that he's really injured, just that they want the starters to pace themselves. Doing that would allow the team to slot McHugh in as, essentially, the 5th starter. He may well be more effective in that role and it would probably make him a happier camper. When starter #1 returns from the DL, guess what, the next guy gets a sore shoulder/elbow. And on and on for the entire season, allowing McHugh to get 20 or 25 starts.
