Not sure Davis belongs in MLB yet. Most likely Davis is pressing to make an impression. It looks like Yuli is going to be back sooner. |

kind of funny that the announcers said that McHugh would most likely be brought in at the start of an inning because he had never relieved before and in he comes in the middle of an inning.

Last season, Davis looked overmatched in his first 20 or 30 ABs, then he really turned on the gas and hit at a level significantly above the league average. He'll do it again, but he might need to come home to adoring fans at MMP. If there are any. I would hope there are some, anyway...

It is hard to believe how much talent there is on this team. When Correa and Altuve cool off a bit, Bregman and Reddick will heat up.

Think about McCullers game today. 10 strikeouts and he does not get credit for a quality start. Sounds like good quality to me.
I wonder how that ankle of his feels.

The battling young Marlins are giving the Cubs fits. The Cubs in the fifth give Darvish a three run lead, and then gives the three runs back. No knocked out of the game. Maybe they are picking up his pitches. LOL

The Twins have a no-hitter going against the Orioles through 6. I'd be disappointed if the starting pitcher (Kyle Gibson) got pulled from the game simply based on pitch count. Orioles may be pretty demoralized by the time they show up to Minute Maid.

Sad for Gibson that he wasn't given the chance to complete the no-hitter. Twins tried to get a second inning out of the next pitcher (Pressley) and that was just too much to expect from him. So the no-hitter got broken up with the Twins still needing to record four more outs.
To be honest this Orioles team is looking pretty soft.
