Right now there is something about the makeup of this team is strange. They have had a lot of lucky wins and still have seen this team show up and dominate like they were last year. Too many players not performing to 3/4 of what they did last year.

Too many players not performing to 3/4 of what they did last year. Honestly, I think most of the offense is coasting. They know the grind in the post season and figure to be division winners. Having great pitching also probably gives them reason to coast some days.
I for one would like to see the whole team get fired up for about a month stretch after the all-star break. Go on a 23-3 run that would put the division away and give us first place.

Giving a rookie the green light on 3-0 is usually not a good idea and it wasn't for Tucker. Hard to imagine the McCullers we saw against the White Sox and the one who started tonight is the same pitcher.....He was terrible tonight. Too many fly ball outs from our hitters, especially Springer.
Peacock needs to find the location on his slider or he will keep getting hammered.

For as I am concerned Springer is the biggest flop. Last 30 Games 8 RBI. The Astros have been winning in spite of the ineptitude of Springer offense. With a OBP of .273
