At this point you have to assume that Correa won't make it back this season. Even if he does, it probably won't be at a level we expect. I don’t know. Last I checked, Angelos wants your first-born. |

Actual lineup: Springer Bregman Altuve Gurriel Gattis Marwin Reddick Stassi Kemp I don't see how you can keep White out... Damn it, Hinch! Before White was even called up from Fresno, I always had the opinion that he should primarily be used to face LHP. His OPS against LHP has typically been about 200 points higher than against RHP, and that's a stat he's maintained in both the major and minor leagues, and over the past 4 years or so, so we're talking about a large sample size. So I'd use him in the starting lineup against lefties and perhaps as a late-inning pinch hitter against a lefty reliever. No problem with letting him hit against RHP some of the time, but a mix of 75% LHP and 25% RHP would tend to get more value out of White's bat than just playing him randomly. Today the opposing SP is a lefty, and White is starting on the bench, which is fine since there are other good hitters in the lineup, but it's difficult to imagine that Marwin would produce better than White against Liriano over the long haul. |

Or perhaps it was that really expensive house his new wife picked out. I'm not sure Sipp could afford it if he were unemployable in the MLB next year. At this rate, he'll get a nice contract with somebody for 2019. |
