Are they thinking that by spending more time talking about fashion and jewellery, ATT Sportsnet will increase its female viewership? I don't see that all this nonsense is interesting to the male audience.

I'd think a lot of the female viewers would also like to see the broadcasts be more about baseball. My girlfriend can't stand to watch an entire game, but she thinks Jake is a good looking man and she was pissed that Mike Fiers was traded to Detoit cuz, you know, there's something about the beard and the tattoo and all... In the off season I started reading vintage baseball books from the 1870s to 1910s and there was one really great chapter I found on "How to Explain the Game of Baseball to a Lady". The author's stated purpose was to provide guys with talking points they could use when taking a girl to the ball park. |

I was surprised the Tigers used Jimenez out of the bullpen yesterday. That could give the Stros a slight advantage if this one is still close in the late innings.
