Paxton may well overpower Tucker, but I'd like to see Kyle get a chance in the first game against SEA. Tucker is 2 for 6 against lefties since joining the Astros so let's see if he can continue that initial success.
Reddick is due for a breakout and also hits well against lefties. Kemp does not. An OF of Springer, Tucker, Reddick sounds optimal for this game.
White (6 for 17 vs LHP this year, AVG .353) and Bregman (.302) hit lefties well, and Marwin has had decent success against Paxton over his career. Between Davis, Kemp, and Yuli, it's a crapshoot offensively but I'd probably put Kemp at 2B for the defense. That makes an infield of:
Bregman 3B Marwin SS Kemp 2B White 1B

This will be Paxton's first appearance since July 12, when he had to be pulled in the first inning due to a back injury.
If Paxton isn't quite back to 100%, it could give the Astros an advantage.

With the way the team is struggling to score runs, we can’t afford to be giving runs away by having players playing out of position unnecessarily. The run AJ gave away by having a first baseman/third baseman playing second while a second baseman played left field yesterday was the difference in the game. Kemp has played 217 innings at second base this year between AAA and Houston without committing an error. With Altuve and Correa out he should be the obvious choice to play second base. I agree that Tucker should start this game. He needs to be playing..not sitting. If they are going to have him on the ML roster, play him. To borrow from AJ, “He is not going to learn to hit ML pitching if he is not batting against ML pitching.” If they are not going to play him, they should send him back to AAA. Reddick is 0-5 this season and 0-7 in his career vs Paxton. Tucker has never faced Paxton, but as you pointed out, he is 2-6 vs lefties since he was called up. Incredibly, Marwin is 3-5 with a double and a triple vs Paxton this season and 6-22 in his career. I would start Marwin in LF, Springer in CF and Tucker in RF. My infield would be: White 1B Kemp 2B Bregman SS Yuli 3B Gattis is 0-6 vs Paxton this season, but 6-25 in his career. He would be my DH. Maldanado is 1-6 in his career vs Paxton with 4 Ks. Stassi is 0-5 with 3 Ks. Maldonado is 0-23 in his last 8 games played so I would start Stassi.

Stassi is hitting for an .813 OPS against LHP this year so he definitely has to get this start over Maldonado. Reddick is hitting .830 against lefties even though he hasn't been successful against Paxton. Also, Reddick's BABIP over the past month is in the .200 area, so he is due to see his luck change soon. A lot of tough choices for Hinch with two top players out. Then again, Altuve has been pretty awful against LHP this year so maybe not a lot is being lost there.

from espn.com:
"What's changed for the Mariners since losing their grip on the AL West? Their luck in one-run games has started to dwindle (or perhaps return to the baseline) -- they were 21-9 in one-run games before June 14, but are 6-5 in those games since."

Hit or lose. That’s all it is. The way the Mariners and Astros have been “hitting” lately and with Paxton and Cole on the mound, I could see a 0-0 game being handed over to the bullpens. We Astros fans think our guys have had problems scoring runs lately? The Mariners are dead last in runs scored in July with 73. Astros have 102. Since the All-Star break, both teams have scored 33 runs....that’s just ahead of the Tigers’ 29 for worst in all of baseball.
