Well everyone partially got their wish. Marwin not in the starting lineup but Kemp is not at 2B. Yuli playing 2B and Kemp in LF. Win this game!

Well, offensively it's the best we can currently do.... Looks more like a .500 team than a championship team though.

The good news is that we haven't fallen too far off pace of anything with this cold streak. Still 5 games up and the 3rd best team in baseball.
I'm trying to stay positive with the Altuve thing. Hopefully this will get him all rested up for a strong August and September for a change.

I wonder if Bregman can get to 30 home runs Despite a brief mini slump until yesterday, he's currently on pace for: 33 HR 106 RBI 107 Runs 50 Doubles 12 SB Gattis is also on pace for 30 HR still: 30 HR 97 RBI Springer: 27 HR 83 RBI 109 Runs Altuve until his DL stint: 14 HR 70 RBI 98 Runs 205 Hits (Some of those are still possibly if he comes back rested and hot. 200 hits may not happen this year without a great month or so.) |

And, I just noitced that damn Tyler White is back and in the lineup. We need a bat, but, instead of going after one who can actually produce, they bring that dud back....Unbelievable!!!!

Coach I hope to have a good laugh when White starts hitting and Shutting you up about him. You never give any new guy a chance. You were all over Bregman, have been bitting your tongue on Tucker and it slips once in a while.

The quality middle infielder we had at AAA is playing left field while our #1 position player prospect..an outfielder who is 2-6 vs lefties since he was called up..is sitting on the bench again today when he could be playing at AAA;....our first baseman is playing second base and Stassi who is 2-5 with a home run off Minor this year is sitting while Maldonado..who is 0-20 in his last 7 games and has never got a hit off Minor is catching. Good grief son! Can’t you see the genius at work in all of that? |

Can we say hello to the Astros 2019 full-time DH? He hit that home run just to spite me..  I am glad to see it, but, i would not annoint him as full-time DH until he shows some consistency, which he has never done before. We still need to trade for a bat. |

I would think Gurriel is the better fielder of the two, though neither is likely to be above league average with the glove unfortunately. I could see White being the everyday go-to DH but also playing a position in the field (mix of 70% 1B, 20% 3B, 10% 2B) in about 30% of his games when a starter has scheduled rest or is out on the DL, paternity list, etc. |

I don’t care if the DH next year is Gattis, White, or Jesus. Just be consistent.
