center cut fastball for Bregman he just missed it a bit. good pitch selection though. Springer has to swing on those pitches on the edge with two strikes.

6 pitch inning for Paxton.
Astros are doing nothing to make him work.
Cole was spiking an awful lot of pitches last inning. Might be time to get a reliever up as he nears the 90-pitch quota.

I know it's me but every game I am getting more and more disgusted with the Play of Springer at the plate. He is turning into a run of the mill Player. This slump has gone on way too long. With his production falling like it is.

here is the tell on Cole. First few innings he strikes out a bunch on not many pitches. As the game progresses he hits an inning where his pitches flatten out and they make him work the next inning they score. That would be the sixth tonight. Hope I am wrong.

they did it again advertising a No-Hitter in the 6th. I would think they would wait till at least the 7th or 8th. Just jinx the hell out of the game.

Yep Right on Cue. Would a real second baseman make the out? In fairness, I don’t even know if Altuve would get that. It was hit hard, and José constantly seems to be laid out on rollers to the outfield. |

So there you go, Cole has a high pitch inning and the batters let him down and then he gives up runs. Easy to see, I guess hard to stop.

Well that put the Fix and Jinx on him m240 No jinx, it happens all the time with him and Verlander. Batters need to be aware and take care of their teammates. If your guy goes out there and throws 30 pitches you do not go up there and swing like a crazy guy. Take some time, play with your gloves, take some pitches. Don't run up there and swing like a drunked monkey at the first pitch. jeez, you would think this game was invented yesterday. |

now that was good hitting on Whites part. 8 pitches to strike him out. that was two more than the three guys last inning saw all together. make this guy work.

The way they are playing they will be lucky to be in First Place by the end of the week. The offense needs a major Upgrade and Hinch is still relying on Clippard.

White is a hitter coach, sorry, pay attention to the details.
