Actually it was kevinbass who called Crane cheap and racist. Astrohop hated our move to the American League and its beer-softball construct I realize that after reading your reply. Though it was more than Kevinbass who had it in for Crane or maybe it was a couple poster on another forum that really hated him. |

All I want to say about Posters like Astrohop is I wish I could hear them Now. Crane will never spend the Money and He is a Racist bigot. More than half of the missing Posters were Crane haters for no real reason other than a run in with a Union and Crane was right with that too. Astrohop was generally all over Purpura’s balls, though. |

Yes Ghick was all for Socialism and Unions. All I remember about Ghick was that he never got upset with the offense. Losses were on the pitchers almost exclusively. |

Yes Ghick was all for Socialism and Unions. All I remember about Ghick was that he never got upset with the offense. Losses were on the pitchers almost exclusively. Ghick was worst variety of dumb-ass; the kind that thinks he's smarter than everyone else. His mind was never encumbered with the notion that he might not know what he was talking about when it was painfully obvious to anyone with a modicum of intelligence. He reminded me of an old poker axiom: If you can't pick out the sucker in the first 15 minutes, it's you. He never understood that. |

Ghick must have gotten worse after I went on sabbatical. I remember him being annoying but he wasn't in my top-3 of the worst posters. Probably top-4 though...
