It's been quite a ride from the days of stripping the walls down to studs, ripping up the flooring and gutting the kitchen, but Luhnow went even further: he stripped the thing down to the slab. I'll admit that I wasn't sure if Luhnow knew what he was doing back in those days and when the predictable results came I was even less sure. We suffered through a lot of BAD teams and players. Here's a comparison between 2012 and now:

Excellent synopis of the genius of Luhnow and what it takes to build a dynasty from scratch.

I had to chuckle though....    Was Bogusevic ever here long enough to be considered "not out of the clutches of AAA"?  Epic saga of a AAA bad ass, who couldn't handle MLB breaking stuff.
