Nothing remotely over-rated about Maldonado as a receiver. Yeah, great receivers let strike 3 pitches get by them a lot. That's two in like 5 starts with us already. As with 0ther aspects of the game, you lack the ability to evaluate a catcher. Maldonado is a GOLD GLOVE catcher with a reputation as working great with a pitching staff, framing pitches, and the best arm in the game. As i said, he is highly rated when it comes to framing pitches and other qualities of a defensive catcher. |
