An interesting lineup and batting order. Verlander needs a good start tonight. Low scoring game.

As soon as I saw Davis in the lineup, I knew Correa had not been activated. I also wonder how long they can keep getting away with playing Gurriel at 2B. I guess Paxton is one of the left-handers that Hinch doesn't trust Reddick to hit.

I can't see putting the guy with the weakest arm in RF.

An interesting lineup and batting order. I give the edge to the Mariners in this game because of their batting lineup...can't wait until all of our starters are back, healthy and producing.

The Mariners acquisition of Colome and Span was a great move.

T After the SF series, I assume most of us didn't expect the winning results. Then again JV is used to not getting run support, so this is a perfect scenario for this game. Maybe it will be JD doing the honors tonight.

If they have a guy on first and the next guy up gets a single to left the guy on first is going to third unless he runs like McCann.

Someone needs to step up...this is a tougher task, because the Mariners have a lot stronger lineup..Astros need to give more run support than they 2.5 run support they gave in the Giants series.

Hinch was the genius batting White clean up on Tuesday. He may pull another out of his hat tonight. Go Astros! Sore back sore knee and sore thumb excluded.

If they have a guy on first and the next guy up gets a single to left the guy on first is going to third unless he runs like McCann. Which is why it makes no sense to have Kemp in RF. If Hinch's charts told him this was a smart move, he needs to get rid of them

Verlander laid that one right in the middle of the plate and Haniger did not miss it. Sucks to be down after the first batter.

Verlander is great but that was a dumb pitch to Haniger.

and there is the danger in having Kemp in right field. Better to put Marisnick over there as Kemp can cover just about as much territory as Marisnick and Marisnick can keep the extra bases down.

well I guess the good news is that the hits keep getting smaller, home run, triple and now a double. Maybe he can get someone out after a single.
