Now Gattis will get out again He’s 0 for 14. Close to losing 7 in a row at MMP.

I've seen enough. If Hinch continues to want to play Gattis in the heart of the lineup then we need to put him on waivers.

Gattis one of the two or three that should have been traded or released in my opinion. He has hurt the team and offense as much if not more than the other regulars. I don't know what Hinch and Luhnow were seeing on keeping Gattis and the other couple of players that should have been moved before the year started.
I have said it many times, no team has repeated by keeping the Winning WS team intact the second year.
I still want them to show me what Never Settle means. They sure are accepting this poor play at home.

What bothers me most about Gattis is you can't play him for several games in the World Series.
The guy has 1 HR and 5 RBIs in 23 career playoff games. That 1 HR came against the Yanks last season but he was 1 for 10 for the series

I think Osuna will help us out more than any other acquisition this year. Playoffs bullpen of McHugh, Sipp, Smith, OSuna and Rondon will be hard to beat. Add McCullers and Peacock in that mix for long relief and we are in every game. Our offense will be back with Kemp and White ready to play when we need them. I am reminded of the famous Jim Mora post-game interview. “Playoffs!! Playoffs? Are you kidding me? Playoffs? I just want to win a game!”

Why do Coaches put in a closer when the game is on the losing side. The closer guys always have issues pitching without the stress.

I mean it took Rondon 20 pitches for the ninth. Really? What the hell was Hinch thinking?

He keeps putting Gattis, Gurriel and Marwin in the heart of the order and not one of the three has been a reliable hitter all year. In fact, all of them have been subpar.

The Yankees...in second place on the AL East...already have a better record than Houston. Whether we want to admit it or not, right now the A’s are a better team than the Astros. While our guys are moseying through another game the A’s are winning again tonight and....with a little less than two months remaining in the regular season are going to be within 3 games in the loss column of the Astros for first place in the AL West. After the Mariners finish us off tonight they will be within 5 games of the Astros for the AL West lead. Playoffs? Playoffs?!!

No one is stepping up on offense, yet when they do, the SP’s let them down. It’s uncanny.

Boston and Yankees will play in the div series and if the Yanks win then Houston would still get HFA (which isn't saying much figuring their struggles at home right now)

I really want to Know how Luhnow and Hinch thought they should just stay with the same team from Last Year. It was plain as day they needed to improve in two or three areas. They had the chance to and didn't make a move. Was that Luhnow relying on Hinch input or all on Luhnow holding on to his precious little Prospects? Who only one of them has started to show they want to play with the Big Club.

Seven straight home losses.......no offense.......Morton grooves an 0-2 pitch to Cruz and then throws BP to give up three runs....game over. No excuse to be this bad at home. But, I am sure Hinch has excuses ready........Luhnow still has his prospects and our offense is non-existent.

If they win the division they will have to get past Cleveland to get to Boston. If they win a wild card, they will have to get past NYY in the WC game to get to Boston. The way this team has been playing for the past month plus, I don’t think they will ever get to Boston in the first place. Probably just as well.
