Gattis 0 for 17.
Reddick at .248. Hit .314 in 2017.
Another double play.

tell me again why Gattis has to be the DH every game. What am I missing here? White should be the DH until Gattis gets his head out of the Cloud he is dragging around.

Verlander averaging 5 pitches per batter. He keeps that up will not be in this game for long

This is absolutely idiotic. The scouting report is that Marquez is slow to the plate. You have a fast guy in Tucker at first base and a slow as molasses GIDP guy in Maldonado batting. Do they need clearance from air traffic control to steal a base?

Astro announcers talking about Hinch liking what he’s seeing out of Maldanado as he hits into a DP. He’s 3 for 24 as an Astro. A .125 average.
We are being no-hit.

They can choose continue to sucking on offense by not trying to move runners.

Hinch is player blind to his Loyalty. He better figures something out cause this is a sinking ship.

White should be in the DH spot over Gattis tonight. Correa has no business in the three hole. And, I wish I knew WHY Hinch refuses to use a sac bunt. With Tunker on with a leadoff walk, Maldonado should have laid down the bunt to move him up. Instead, another damn DP which increases our league leading total.

You’ve got 3 players having down years compared to 2017. Actually 4. Reddick, Marwin, Springer, and Correa. You’ve got the AL MVP out for 3 weeks, so far, and Hinch says it may be at least 2 more weeks for Altuve.
It’s rather easy to see why they don’t score^^^^^

It's a shame that our best hitter this season (Bregman) is cold as well right now.

so is it the fifth, sixth or seventh that we give up a run and start to feel like all is lost

No-Hit thru 4 and not even a sniffle of a hit. They are playing well under .500 Ball right now. Normally you would call this a Pitcher Dual but since the Astros haven't been hitting that would be a lie.

When they talk about pitch count, they never add in warm up pitches or throw overs. Wouldn't those count towards your total count as well?
A pitcher can have 50 pitches thrown to home plate, but 5 throw overs to first and 5 ground out throws to first.

Verlander battled tonight but almost every Rockies players has 5-6 more pitch count they are seeing. Astros are well behind that.
