Armenteros pitching tonight for Fresno. Kind of in line with what we would need for our fifth starter. Kind of makes you wonder if he is the guy to come up and take a few starts for McCullers.

I hope that is it. I remember back in the 100 Loss Season a game like this after a losing streak was they called was the showing of a bad team.
All of a sudden everyone gets hits or walks and sacrifice fly when the last 6 games not even close.

the next inning for Cole is important. Only 70 pitches but if he gets into trouble it is usually in the 5th or 6th.

you know who the board desperately needs is astrohop and waastro. Even if hop whined nonstop about being in the AL it'd be worth it I miss OMB. He would’ve already had somebody tossed “unceremoniously onto Crawford Steet” by now. |

Right now, I think I'd use Tucker or Fisher either one over Gattis.....less likely to hit into DP's That's absurd. No more absurd than your WAR, OBP, etc bullshit. As it has worked out, Gattis has two home runs tonight. I am sure you predicted that prior to the game. At the time of my post, Gattis was in an 0-20 and had regularly been hitting into DP's . So, it was not "absurd" to say that Fisher or Tucker were as likely to get hits and much less likely to GIDP. You take wanting to be right to the extremes.......even when you are wrong, which is 90% of the time. |

Everybody congratulate Abregmanfan. Lufkin’s boys just qualified for the US Championship game Saturday in the JuniorLLWS by beating California 2-0. I think his son, Hunter, will probably be the SP for Lufkin in the championship game.
