Everybody congratulate Abregmanfan. Lufkin’s boys just qualified for the US Championship game Saturday in the JuniorLLWS by beating California 2-0. I think his son, Hunter, will probably be the SP for Lufkin in the championship game. Congratulations, that’s fantastic!

I see it’s Morton vs. Edwin Jackson Friday night. Jackson is due for a bad outing.
Oakland had an announced crowd of 17,000+ today at home vs. Seattle which means maybe 10,000 in the park. A very good team and they don’t support them.

No more absurd than your WAR, OBP, etc bullshit. As it has worked out, Gattis has two home runs tonight. I am sure you predicted that prior to the game. At the time of my post, Gattis was in an 0-20 and had regularly been hitting into DP's . So, it was not "absurd" to say that Fisher or Tucker were as likely to get hits and much less likely to GIDP. You take wanting to be right to the extremes.......even when you are wrong, which is 90% of the time. Whatever, bro. Gattis has hit two HRs and you didn't want him to play. No way around that.

I was just going to post something sarcastic to that. Last night everyone wanted to string him up and Tonight has a 1-2-3 inning. Funny how baseball is.
Though I am not going to let tonights showing from the offense fool me until I see it for multiple games. That also includes Harris

Arenado is a straight baller. Coors factor or not. He’s like a Matt Chapman that can hit. He’s a badass 3B.

I just looked up Chapman’s offensive stats. He may be the best 3B in baseball.

Glad to see Gattis hit the home runs. Did your refer to your stat sheets before the game and predict that he and White would each hit two home runs? No, based on what Gattis had done over the last several games, I did not want him to play, but, since you knew beforehand that he would hit the home runs, I am glad he was in the lineup. Just a reminder......I am NOT your "bro".

I just looked up Chapman’s offensive stats. He may be the best 3B in baseball. Several good ones at the present time with Chapman and Aredondo being at the top. Bregman is not that far behind them ........But, I do get tired of the brains on mlb network saying Chapman and Arendondo may be the best of all-time. I guess none of them ever saw Brooks Robinson play.

Cincinnati‘s offense was supposed to steam roll Baltimore that year. By the end of the series Brooks Robinson had just totally demoralized the Reds with his glove work. Never since have I seen a position player take over a World Series the way Brooks Robinson did that year.

He is the best I ever saw at third base..........Clete Boyer was a good one during those days and Mike Schmu=idt later on. I have to rank Ken Caminiti in that league with the glove....crying shame how his career and life ended.

Doesn't take a stat genius to figure out that common sense, bro.

So is it purely coincidence that as soon as Altuve takes batting practice before the game, that the team erupts offensively that night? Interesting...
The legend of El Gigante....

The poll they had on the game last night about the best strike out duo in Stros history where JR and Joe only got 3% of the vote in the twitter poll was ridiculous. When comparing third base man from different era's is a good talking subject. Chapman and Arenardo are not even in their prime yet.

When comparing third base man from different era's is a good talking subject. Chapman and Arenardo are not even in their prime yet. Older fans have a tendency to favor older players, and younger fans have a tendency to favor newer players. It's impossible really compared such different time periods.
