The GIDP by our wannabe MVP shortstop was probably the final nail. I am sick of looking at this gutless wimp. I said something about Correa and Springer early in the year (first month) and got accused of wanting to trade them for fodder. At this Point, Fodder would have been a Bargain.

When you get one hit against a Cub reject for seven, it doesn't matter how the lineup is constructed and who is in it on a total team slump. Yes, I agree with you this. Just one thing though How the Hell does a Team have a Total Team slump for over two months. Something is Rotten in Denmark as the saying goes. Something happened well before Osuna came on board that Management was Silent about and did nothing to correct it. Was it they realized that they made a mistake with keeping everyone from WS starting lineup. WHAT? I really didn't expect the offense to be as great as last season, with some guys having career years, it would have been impossible to replicate. But this slump is something I figured these guys would not go through for an extended time.

This team is an embarrassment and a damn joke. 7-0.......they quit about the 5th inning.

Add Peacock to the long list of players who haven’t performed as well as they did last season.

And my prediction of 8-1 Oakland, begins. It’s 7-0 now. This game was too predictable.

Add Peacock to the long list of players who haven’t performed as well as they did last season. I had Peacock written off as a bust a few years ago, I didn't know the extent of his injuries, but he was a dream last season.

Gattis, Marwin, and Gurriel should not have been on this 2018 Team. I said this from the First Month and every one of you in here ignored it. I didn't say these three in Name just that NO TEAM REPEATS with the same Roster for the Previous Years WS winner. GO back and look at the three straight by NY and see how many players they changed and let go.

Add Peacock to the long list of players who haven’t performed as well as they did last season. Peacock's slider has been horrible all season and he is getting hammered. It is a shame when a team who won a title last year has shown so little pride. I can't wait to hear Hinch in the post-game. I hope he at least has a couple of new excuses.....One will be "Cahill wasn't hitting any barrels today". blah, blah, blah. I wonder if Hinch has the balls to go in the clubhouse and say what needs to be said.....hell no.

I never expect much from Gattis besides the occasional homer, but no one saw this nosedive happening from Marwin and Gurriel. Yes, we may have seen maybe a regression, but Marwin is playing like a career minorleaguer, and Yuli has zero pop.

After it means nothing, we get a Kemp home run.

After it means nothing, we get a Kemp home run. Give him credit, though. He plays better than quite a few regulars.

What is more, F up is to have someone hit an HR at the end of a game that really means squat.

With how Yuli is playing, Hinch has got nothing to lose by playing Tucker and White much more often.

NO, He was never mentioned in the same role as Correa, Springer, and Altuve.

Should have been benched then and went with someone from AAA who would have performed better.

I mainly put this on Correa, Springer, and somewhat Altuve. Even Altuve didn't show the same drive as he had the previous three or more years. I really think if they had replaced those three (Gattis, Reddick, Gurriel, and mostly Marwin maybe one or two others then we would be looking at a totally different team. A team with desire and someone who wants something to drive those first three.

When you get one hit against a Cub reject for seven, it doesn't matter how the lineup is constructed and who is in it on a total team slump. The Astros “offense” is nonexistent. I honestly don’t believe they could win a 7 game series against their AA Corpus Christi team right now. A 7 game series between the Astros and AAA Fresno would be a tossup only because the Fresno roster has been diluted by players being promoted to Houston.

I know teams run into rough patches, but this is something I think we did not expect. The one thing you don't want to see might be the biggest choke in MLB History if the Stros don't turn it around and make the playoffs.

What bothers me is that none of them......including Hinch......seem to be concerned. It's just like "oh, well, it's no big deal". No heart or energy. They all seem to be just going through the motions. Somebody needs start screaming in the clubhouse.......Hinch needs to get ejected from a game.....anything to show he is still alive.

I’ve gotta tell you pa...., when an entire lineup of position players coming off a WS championship season goes into a slump...and stays in that slump for two months and counting..., I have to suspect that there is division in the clubhouse.

Before this dive, on the pre game shows and what you hear on the network, guys would be flocking to play in Houston because of the harmony of the team roster. But that is the difference between a winning team and a losing one. Things can go south very quickly.
