double plays in three straight innings.......I wonder if starting a runner ever crosses Hinch's mind......Good speed on first and a guy who makes contact at the plate......but, he seldom starts runners. I guess he likes leading baseball in GIDP

It would be hard to hit into more double plays than the Royals did last year with 160 but we sure as hell are doing a good job of trying.

counting the two tonight we have only turned 89 double plays on the year. good for 28th in the league.

That ties the season high of 4 GIDP's in a game (June 17 vs KC). The Astros won the game against KC by the way, 7-4.
Why stop now. The Stros have a chance to set a franchise record for GIDPs in a game.

Framber's getting no help from the umpires on these close calls. Still, he just plugs away. Maybe he breaks camp with the team in 2019.
