alright one game down two more wins to go. We need to sweep them and make them start thinking about playing for the wildcard.

I am ready to make two announcements: 1. Alex Bregman is DEFINITELY nearing being labeled as a STAR. 2. Tyler White will NOT be returning to Fresno this season. I think they want to send the A's a message and they showed it tonight. Cole settled down and gave us 6 innings. Two bad pitches cost him the four runs. Then, the bullpen shut it down again and we kept Osuna and Rondon from having to work tonight which will help us the rest of the series. We have Morton going against Jackson tomorrow and I like that matchup.

Every Astros hitter improved his batting avg today except Correa.
Pitching did a great job of containing Khris Davis. Semien with the HR was not expected.

Every Astros hitter improved his batting avg today except Correa. Pitching did a great job of containing Khris Davis. Semien with the HR was not expected. Correa started with two good at bats........single up the middle and a line drive to right that was caught. Then,he was back to looking stupid taking strike three and striking out again later. He hit the ball hard his last at bst even though he was out. The worst at bat we had tonight was Altuve in the first inning after the Bregman single.....He swings at the first pitch that wasn't close to being in the zone and hit into a DP to end the inning. All in all a great offensive game.

We scored the last 11 runs of the game last night. We need to score the first 6 tonight and then watch how they react.

It appears as if the team has snapped out of it’s stupor and decided to compete for the title this season, rather than mailing it in every night and expecting the other team to roll ever and play dead when they see last year’s champions in the dugout across the field from them. Good to see, especially at MMP where the ticket holders have certainly not got their money’s worth in a while.

They stopped feeling sorry for themselves because of the injuries and played like champions because the lineup is back where it should be. Some of them didn't handle being without Altuve very well. He brought the spark when he came bacjust hope he can light a fire under Correa. I think they want to send a message to Oakland.

I am glad that a "bandwagon fan" recognized that.

I have to admit that after having watched them play like the Bad News Bears at MMP for over a month, I was shocked that they responded to the challenge when the Angels jumped ahead. I hope they don’t assume they can knock Boston’s pitching staff around like that.

They were saying Houston is the only team they think will give them trouble. Mention something about Houston not getting another bat as they Know Houston Pitching would carry but the offense was hurting.
