The Yankees acquired outfielder Andrew McCutchen from the Giants for two prospects, according to ESPN's Buster Olney. Ah, come on!

Correa should bat 8th or 9th. Young Carlos is tired...played in the WS last year, you know.

AJ’s cleanup batter came into tonight’s game batting .172 with a .467 OPS in August. He will finish the month with a batting average below the Mendoza line for the second time this year. He batted .192 in May.

White hitting .317 on the year with a 1.055 OPS.
I think Hinch just found his new cleanup hitter.

He batted .192 in May. And AJ will have him right back in the same spot tomorrow and the rest of the season no matter what he does and Carlos knows it. He should feel like a thief when he deposits his paycheck.

Time for Hinch to put feelings and the World Series aside and really think about where to put Springer and Correa.

415 ft on the home run.
Of four balls put into play by White today, they travelled:
327 ft (flyout) 164 ft (single) 365 ft (flyout) 415 ft (HR)
That is consistent with his overall HR/FB ratio this year of right around 30%. He'll hit two fly balls that stay in the park, then one that goes out. He's been very consistent in that respect all year.

At least the A's are losing. It was 7-0 Mariners the last I heard. Now, that McCutchen is a Yankee, maybe Luhnow can go get Justin Smoak.....I'm nearly as sick of Yuli as I am of Carlos.

He will not do that. All he can remember is Springer savings his ass in the WS. Thinks it will work again. Except its both Springer and Correa and neither have produced the whole year to be considered a top 5 or 6 in their position. Probably even lower than that. They don't seem to have a spark for wanting to win games. Just going thru motions to get thru the day.

Now, Stanton is telling us Correa needs more time to get his timing back......what a crock. How long does it take? I am sick of hearing excuses for this guy. Hinch is trying to explain why he pulled Verlander when he did to bring in Sipp.
Now, Hinch is spewing the same line of crap about Correa........"just one click away from doing some crazy good things"...."He is a middle of the order bat and I'm not going to move him". Verlander was clealry pissed off when he was pulled. Now, t the guy on the post-game says there was "no doubt" that Hinch did the right thing in pulling Verlander........bullshit. Then, he fixed it so we had no chance when he brought in Harris. S

What was the excuse when Correa batted .192 in May? I wondered the same thing....He has mailed in this season. I am sure most think I'm crazy for saying it, but, I don't think his head is on playing the game. It's elsewhere. I am sick of looking at Correa and Hinch is dead wrong to keep batting him cleanup.

Bart Enis is still sayng he was right to pull Verlander........it's plain that Justin didn't think so. The pitch sequence to Calhoun showed fatigue. He wasn’t ready for another round of Trout. Hinch should’ve pulled him after the double. However, the death knell was putting in Harris. Worry about postseason reliever auditions after you’ve clinched a spot.

I wish Daniella would just get him to stay home. He can't strike out and hit into DP's from there. I wish Hinch would either move Bregman back to SS and bench Correa or move little Carlos down to 8 or 9 in the order, but, he won't because that might hurt the little fellow's ego.

First off, pretty disrespectful to another man's wife who has done nothing wrong to anyone but go on a slump. Try to not make things personal... Second, a man SHOULD be more committed to his then to his job. And lastly, he looked as pissed as any of us when he struck out yesterday. He isn't trying to slump on purpose.
