the 101mph fastball is something we haven't seen from an Astros pitcher in a while I really like it for the postseason Even better than that, it appears to have a little movement which would make it harder to square up.

No you are not the only one. Luhnow rewarded Sipp for his 2015 season by giving him his first multi-year contract of his career. Sipp rewarded Luhnow for his generosity by stinking up the ballpark in 2016 and 2017. Now in 2018 Sipp is pitching for his next contract and amazingly has found a way to be effective. The old saying, “Fool me once, shame on you.., fool my twice, shame on me,” applies here. I don’t think Luhnow will be fooled again. If not here, I am sure Sipp will find a team, especially being a southpaw, they usually have nine lives. I can’t stand an athlete who busts his tail in the last year of his contract in order to get another contract, but slacks off and just goes through the motions every other year. No better example of this than Sipp, IMO

let me think, we can have Sipp for 6 million a year or Perez for 500k, hard to figure maybe we should go with Perez.

Am I the only one who wants to say goodbye to Sipp regardless of how well he finishes the season? The past two years of suck is etched into my brain. I am definitely on board of don't be fooled twice, don't re-sign Sipp.

Oh no doubt he will sign with some team. I'm wondering if he will find a sucker to give him a multi-year contract after the shafting he gave Luhnow on the 3 year deal he got from Houston.

I can't imagine the Astros would give Sipp a new contract. I think the main question remaining is whether Hinch wants Sipp pitching in the postseason.
