The most pathetic hitter on this team is Carlos Correa., Kalas just said he had THREE extra base hits in his last 103 at bats and Hinch still calls him "a big bat in the middle of the lineup". What he has been most of this season is an under-achieving rally killer in the middle of the lineup. I knew when Tyler got hit by the pitch that this guy would leave them loaded. Hinch is as stupid as he is for leaving him in the middle of the lineup.

Superdoubleplusgood defender Correa with another error, causing Cole to have to throw an extra 15 pitches. And then leaves the bases full with his Adam Everett act.

Carlos needs to be sent a message, but, Hinch won't do it. The next time he comes up with RISP, send a pinch hitter up there and bench Correa. That is exactly what I would do...embarrass him and see if that wakes him up.

Yeah, embarrassing grown men is a great leadership tactic. That will definitely help control the clubhouse.

I'm not against pinch-hitting for slumping players, obviously. Doing it to embarrass them is a horrible approach though.

I remember some guy that played second base. He started having problems throwing over to first with any accuracy at all. They made light of it and said that he would eventually work it out. The problem persisted and they kept throwing him out there. Within two years time he went from a real good player to out of baseball. He developed some sort of mental problem and no one helped him get hold of it.
Right now Correa either has a back problem or a mental problem. Either way he needs to be on the dl or the bench. If he lost his stroke he needs to extended spring training and figure stuff out before they ruin him.

I wonder how many of those 18 other guys with 50+ Doubles, 30+ HR and 100+ RBI also had 10+ stolen bases and 100+ Runs....

I remember Knoblauch, I think he played for the twins and the yankees but the guy I am thinking about played for the giants I think back in the late 70s early 80s. Point is he is too good a player to be this bad for this long. Something is wrong. Gonzo third, Bregman ss would be better than this for sure.
