Like I said swing less until you get the pitch you want to square up. Foul off until then. This is the plate discipline from 2016

Last season, this lead wasn’t a big deal. This season, there are too many undisciplined hitters. I want to believe we can come back, but I don’t see it happening much like Bear.

Yeah, that’s an aspect lost on this team. Why didn’t Springer protect on a full count? Like you said, that wouldn’t have happened last season.
