It’s about time you started a GDT. The only good luck charm that can rival the Weber is you starting the GDT.

Correa at #5. SMH. At least AJ doesn’t have Correa and Reddick batting back-to-back in the middle of the order today.

I don't think it's too big of a deal if Correa bats 5th. 7th is generally where your weakest stick should bat. Everyone wanted Correa out of the cleanup spot, so there's progress on that front

We should stop hoping for Correa to bat 7th or 8th. It took two months for Hinch to bat him 5th.

First Last Pos OPS+/ERA+1 George Springer CF 115 2 Jose Altuve 2B 135 3 Alex Bregman 3B 164 4 Yuli Gurriel 1B 99 5 Carlos Correa SS 103 6 Tyler White DH 173 7 Marwin Gonzales LF 104 8 Martin Maldonado C 96 9 Josh Reddick RF 93 SP Dallas Keuchel SP 110
I think they are trying to get Correa some pitches to hit. I hope he guesses right. Probably not. I'm expecting swings at pitches 2 feet out of the zone and a bat on his shoulder when it's grooved right down the middle.

I just think we all should embrace him batting 5th. I think that 6th would be the lowest. He hasn’t batted that low since his rookie season.

I think where someone bats in the order is a tad overrated. If you have one weak stick it's not a bad idea to slot him 5th so he sees better pitches. It's having three guys in a row hitting .220 where you get into problems Reddick going 0 for his first 20 postseason at-bats last October and Hinch continuing to run him out there doesn't give me much confidence that Correa will get benched this October

AJ will bat Correa 7th or lower right after, first: hell freezes over and, second: he moves Springer out of the #1 spot in the batting order.

Shame on me for not keeping track of yesterday's game but for anyone else not paying attention, the A's lost to Baltimore. So if we play like dog dung and go 9-7 the A's would have to go 12-3 just to tie us.

AJ said on the post game over a week ago that he was a "middle of the order bat" and he would not consider moving him down. Middle of the order bats should be expected not to have a 17-104 stretch. No matter how many times he strikes out leaving runners stranded or hits weak ground balls or popups, he will stay where he is and keep on hurting the team.

Like I said, Hinch will always hang his hat on Springer going crazy in the World Series whenever anyone challenges his batting orders.

I don’t think MLB will allow the Astros to let Correa hit off a tee.

1st pitch to Springer was 4 inches outside. I wonder if Keuchel was getting those calls

Bregman walks, three on no outs and Gurriel with his big batting average with runners in scoring position at the plate.
