I didn't see anything wrong with Correa's mechanics; he was just late too. Maybe it is the batters eye being all effed up

some very questionable calls tonight for AJ. Rondon always struggles after 20 pitches and yep he gave up 2 runs tonight after throwing more than 20 pitches. The whole Correa thing and the Reddick thing. But of course we all knew we needed at least one more bat and probably two but we get nothing. Oh well we are still up by 3 games in the loss column no need to panic yet but why just give games away.

Correa > Reddick
If you need to bench someone, there you go.

But it’s all a moot point if Springer is hurt.

We should not be surprised by what we saw tonight because it has happened all season. We have a great road trip then come home, have an off day, and then do nothing in the first game. We got nothing off the worst bullpen in the NL. We were doomed from the first inning when we got our first four hitters on and had scored a run and still no outs. Then, up comes Correa and kills the rally.
Hinch did about the worst managing job tonight I've seen him do in a long time. WHY does he insist on pinch running for Tyler White when he is the DH and using Jake as the pinch runner? That backfired and we had White out of the game and used up Jake so we finished the game with JD Davis in left and Marwin in CF. Rondon made some bad pitches and it cost us the game. No offensse at all, but, failing to do a thing against their pen is ridiculous.

I missed the last few innings, but it looks like Springer striking out with 2 runners in scoring position was a big turning point.
Got the leadoff double that inning, got to find a way to score at least one run.

Looks like only two AStros hitters even managed to make hard contact in the game (Gattis and Davis). And neither could get a hit out of those hard-hit balls.

Oakland and Tampa Bay still tied top of 7th. Some guy name Chaz Roe pitching, that is right Chaz. What was his momma thinking. Probably, "Just three more margaritas and I'll be as drunk as I was 9 months ago..."

Correa batting 6th in the lineup this evening. Springer playing today. No surprise that George is in there, but, seeing AJ drop Correa down to 6th is a surprise but, something that should have been done before now. Reddick still in there......why has he stopped playing Kemp when Reddick is awful?
